The Eastside Timebank is an open, welcoming group of Eastside residents, employees, and businesses that strive to develop stronger community bonds with each other by providing and receiving services from one another. Every single one of us in the community have value and can provide service to others – yes, every single one of us. Being in service in both giving and receiving is an important part of what we consider the best of what used to be routine in this country and this community – helping one another. Receiving services is just as important as giving; no one can give unless someone receives. So, the Eastside Timebank is exercising old-fashioned values using high-tech tools that fit our busy lives.
The Eastside Timebank was started through a collaboration of the cities of Kirkland, Bellevue, and Redmond; and representatives from Hopelink, Kirkland Rotary, and the local faith community.
We are a 501c(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization.
